Dean Wilson began his motocross career at the age of 7 years old in Scotland. After his family moved to Canada, Wilson won four- straight Canadian National Championships from 2003-2006. Starting as a member of Kawasaki’s Team Green amateur program in 2008, Dean won 6 amateur championships and added 13 more to that in 2009, the year that he also won the AMA Horizon Award. At the 2009 Monster Energy Nationals young Dean won every race he entered, but left after the first half of the series to race south of the border. Wilson wrapped up 2009 by representing Team Canada at the Motocross des Nations in Brescia, Italy, winning the B-Final race in his professional debut. 2010 marked the beginning of Dean’s rookie Supercross season.
