Chambly, Qc. – Current 2018 MX2 Motocross Champion Jess Pettis will defend his title in 2019 as a member of the KTM RED BULL THOR Factory Racing Team. Competing in the MX2 class, Pettis will race aboard the 2019 KTM 250 SX-F equipped with WP Pro Components during the 2019 Canadian Triple Crown season and also down in the U.S. at select rounds of Monster Energy Supercross.
Pettis, a native of Prince George, British Colombia has been racing since he was seven years old. In the footsteps of other successful Canadian racers like Doug Dehaan, Darcy Lange, Cole Thompson, and JSR, Jess traveled south to the U.S. test his Supercross skills. He followed that up with a solid performance during the Canadian Triple Crown season where he secured the 2018 MX2 Canadian Championship.
