AMA Supercross returns to Toronto

AURORA, Ill. (December 17, 2008) – Feld Motor Sports announced today that the Toronto stop on the 2009 Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, schedule will be included in the Eastern Regional AMA Supercross Lites class point race.

“This is a great addition to the 2009 Monster Energy® Supercross schedule,” said Todd Jendro, senior director of operations, Feld Motor Sports. “This will be the first time that the highly competitive Eastern Regional AMA Supercross Lites class will début in the Canadian market place.”

The Lites class racers will also compete at the two of the four new markets added to this year’s schedule in New Orleans (Superdome) Jacksonville, Fla. (Jacksonville Municipal Stadium) on the road to the Dave Coombs Sr. East/West Shootout at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium.
