Last weekend was La Tuque 12 hours d’enduro cross race. This event was divided in 3 rounds of 4 hours each including one during the night. The KTM Canada riders, Patrick Beaulé (KTM 250 XC) and Michel Metcalfe (KTM 250 XC), confirmed their participation only a few days before the event and they were ready to defend their title. After, a difficult first lap due to a flat tire and a crash, KTM Canada team had to come back from the 12th position to 1st battling with team #11 KTM Philippe Chaîné (KTM 250 XC-F) and Jérémy Daudelin (KTM 250 XC-F). The rest of the event went really well for team #1 who won all 3 rounds and for a 3rd time the overall 12 hours. Chainé and Daudelin battled hard during the 3 rounds and finally were able to finish in 2nd place. Team JPF, Donald Grenon, Jean-François Houle and Pierre-Luc Desharnais, from KTM dealer Ja-Per-Formance had also a good race on their KTM 250 SX. They took the 3rd position overall. The only and first ever ladies team with KTM riders Any Lavoie (KTM 150 SX) and Vanessa Marcoux (KTM 125 SX), impressed a lot of people with a 6th place in the technical qualification.

For the ATV competition, 2 KTM team rode extremely well. Team # 53, Normand Plante, Gaétan Laroche and Samuel Raymond, from KTM dealer TY Moteurs, finished the event with a well deserve 6th place on their KTM 525 XC ATV. KTM Canada team, Bobby Desjardins, Amélie Lavallée and Philippe Meunier rode for most of the event in the top 5 position and even took the 2nd position at one point. Unfortunatly, after some problems they lost some time and positions. They were able to pass some teams and they finished in 7th position on their KTM 505 SX ATV.
