KTM says it will have a factory team in usa:

It has been all quiet on the western front, but KTM has announced that it will have a usa race team; who is on it?

KTM announced immediately after the MXDN that it will run an official factory team in the USA for the 2010 season. The team will be directly linked to the Austrian headquarters in Mattighofen and will be under the control of KTM's Offroad Racing Director Pit Beirer. Casey Lytle will resume his role as team manager (that he gave up a couple years ago when MDK took command of the KTM effort).

The new KTM factory team, contesting the "American outdoor motocross competition," will field Briton Tommy Searle in the 250 class as well as Mike Alessi in the 450 class on the KTM factory machine. The wording “American outdoor motocross competition” leaves more than a few questions unanswered about Supercross (although Mike Alessi has already announced that he will not race Supercross, but instead focus on getting familiar with the KTM 350SXF prototype in time for the 2010 AMA 450 Nationals).
