Ben Milot Injured

We just received word from Ben Milot's camp that the renowned freestyle rider was injured on Thursday, November 17 [editor's note: Dec 17?] while practicing a new stunt for the upcoming season scheduled to start January 23. While he and his father were working in Ocala, Florida to perfect a back flip superman a gust of wind blew him from the off ramp. It's believed the impact was the equivalent to a drop of three stories.

Ben is back home in Trois-Rivières recovering. He has numerous lacerations and a fractured foot, in addition to some knee injuries. More tests are being conducted to determine the full extent of his injuries, including whether or not there are any torn ligaments.

Our thoughts go out to Ben and the rest of the Milot family, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
