Calgary, Alberta
While leading round 3 of the MX-1 Canadian National event in Calgary, Ab, current Canadian MX-1 Champion Colton Facciotti cross rutted and went down late in the first moto.
He was stabilized at the track and transported to the Foothills Hospital.
Colton suffered head injuries and underwent extensive neurological testing at the hospital. We are pleased to report that there does not seem to be any serious neurological damage at this time.
He was kept overnight and is still currently hospitalized for closer observations. We are hoping he will be released later today.
Obviously he is very sore this morning however is in good spirits.
His family and friends would like to thank everyone for all their concerns, prayers and support.
