PUSHING FOR THE SPORT:

 ‘KTM OFF-ROAD SUPPORT PROGRAM’

February 28, 2012. St-Bruno, QC – Canada is fortunate to have many committed and hard working organizations fighting to ensure the off-road motorcycle voice is heard. It’s often a thankless job and one that requires substantial investment to make a difference in the off-road world.

For 2012, KTM Canada launches an exciting new initiative designed to help drive more funds to these groups, with the goals of sustaining and developing new trails and keeping the sport of off-road healthy.

“As every rider knows, it’s getting harder and harder to find legal and safe places to ride,” says KTM Canada’s Sport & Events Marketing Coordinator, Danny Brault. “The KTM Off-Road Support Program is created to bring more dollars to Canadian organizations, which are tirelessly pushing for off-road motorcycle rights. These people direct many projects, from working with local and federal governments, to increasing land access and providing quality insurance for riders.”

The program works by off-road enthusiasts filling out ‘Off-Road Support Program’ coupons and dropping them off at any KTM dealer. For each coupon received by dealers, KTM Canada will donate $10 to that person’s local off-road organization (up to a capped amount). This program is open to all riders, regardless of brand.

Eligible organizations for the KTM Off-Road Support Program:

  • Nova ScotiaOff-Road Riders Association (NSORRA)
  • Fédération Québécoise des Motos Hors Route (FQMHR)
  • OntarioFederation of Trail Riders (OFTR)
  • SaskatchewanTrack & Trail
  • Rocky Mountain Dirt Riders Association (RMDRA)
  • British ColumbiaOff-Road Motorcycle Association (BCORMA)

Those interested in supporting this program will find coupons from the above mentioned groups and their affiliated clubs, KTM dealers or they may be downloaded at www.ktm.com. Deadline for coupons to be received by dealers is May 15, 2012.
