Out of the Blue - Cooke still in front
Riverglade
is this weekend!
On August 2, the girls will be lining up for round 4 of the Women’s Nationals in Moncton, NB. This is the first year for the Riverglade track to be a part of the women’s series and I think it’s great the eastern leg has included as far right as New Brunswick. I’m sure Heidi Cooke
will have her devoted hometown fan club lined at the fence, cheering her on. She has a 27 points lead over second place Jocelyn Killough
going into round 4 of the five round series.

Jocelyn Killough on the gas in the sand of Gopher |
Three years ago if someone had told me that Jocelyn would be top two in the series in 2009, I wouldn’t have doubted it.
Sylvie Levasseur
will also be close to home. The New Brunswick rider sits in seventh; last year she finished the series in eighth.

Heidi has been on fire this year and is dominating like Ross did last year. Can she be beaten? |
Gopher Dunes
hosted round 3, July 19. Heidi took the overall (1-1), while Denaye Giroux finished second (4-3). Kate McKerroll
, who has been riding solid in sand this year rounded off the top three with well earned 6-2 motos.
