Aaron Pfrimmer couldn’t ask for a better season than 2009. The Formula Suzuki rider captured the MX-1 and MX-2 Pro Provincial Championships in both the Spring and Fall series as well as earning the Number 1 Manitoba Pro Number plate for 2010. Formula Suzuki owned the Pro Podium in the Fall Provincial Championships when Pfrimmer was joined on the MX-1 box with his teammate Adam Pfeiffer taking second and Josh Pfrimmer grabbing third. In MX-2 Pfeiffer and Josh Pfrimmer switched podium spots.

Jordan Devloo had an almost perfect fall. Devloo captured the 65cc 10-11 Championship with a perfect series. Devloo also captured the 85cc 7-11 title but saw his bid for a second perfect series end when he melted down his 85 after a rad hose burst in the first moto. D.J. Burmey and Donald Fossay completed the 85cc 7-11 podium, while Brian Klassen and Jacob Gnidziejko joined Devloo in the 65cc 10-11 top three.

Richmond Morin was the dominant force in the Supermini class in 2009. Morin collected the Supermini and 85cc 12-16 crowns in style winning all four of his motos at the final round. Mark Sexton took second place honours in both classes. Kenora, Ontario native Braydon Love captured third spot in the 85cc 12-16 class while Devloo picked up the final podium spot in Supermini.
Another multiple class Champion is Rio Stoesz, who took home the MX-2 and MX-3 Junior titles. Stoesz who had already clinched the MX-2 title prior to the last round was followed by Michael Giesbrecht and Eric Fardoe. In MX-3 action, Stoesz was kept honest right to the final moto by James Freudenberg, with Justin Gevoga rounding out the top three.
The last multiple class Champion of the Fall series was Westside Honda’s Olaf Rohm, who left Outback Raceway with the Vet Junior and 40+ B class titles tucked away. Stacy Groening was runner up in both series, while Mel Penner in Vet Junior and Richard Vanderwerf in 40+ B took third spot.
The 50cc 7-8 class Champion is Adam Wiebe. Ethan Scott made a final round charge that saw him overtake Tye Beischer for second.
Dan Gavel had to settle for second overall on the day but I’m sure the ATV Pro class Championship soothed the wounds. Jordan Harms and race day winner Mike Mooney completed the championship triumvirate.
The MX-1 Intermediate class was one of the tightest battles entering the final round with only two points between the top two. Ryan Klassen sealed the deal with a 2-3 day, topping Branden Senchuk and Dustin Knutt when the final points were tallied.
Madison McAlinden never finished worse than third at any point during the Fall series and was rewarded with a Little Ladies class Championship for her efforts. Morgan Blaquiere and Kayla McCannell finished the series in second and third respectively.
Another rider who capped off a perfect series was D.J. Burmey. The fearless 65cc pilot grabbed the 65cc 7-9 title while winning both motos and being one of only two 65cc racers jumping the big fifth gear double on the front straight. Jaxton Unrau and Nicholas Friesen battled right to the final moto for second and third with Unrau coming out on top.
Kirk Green entered the final round with a five point cushion over Justin Gevoga and a ten point lead over Eric Fardoe in the Youth B class. Once the dust had settled the podium remained unchanged.
After missing the first round, Transcanada Motorsports Josh Penner played catch up the entire series in the Youth class. Penner completed the comeback taking the Championship by three points by posting a pair of moto victories while class leader Chris Plett and his Westside Honda could only manage a pair of third place finishes. Another Westside Honda, piloted by Eddie Anderson took third spot in the series.
Rylin Katazinski came from eight points back to claim the 50cc 4-6 title with a pair of moto wins. Kasen Andrushko and Ezra Ginter were second and third respectively.
Coleby Viskup was the top dog in the ATV Beginner class.
Kim Houde locked up another Vet Master title with Trevor Greaves and Troy Dumka in close chase.
The pressure was definitely ratcheted up in the MX-1 Junior class with a total of seven points separating first from third going into the final round. Ian Smith who had not won a single moto the entire fall series picked a great time to win two back to back. The moto wins helped Smith secure the title over Stefan Rohm and Kirk Green.
Duane Beischer stood atop the 40+ Fall Championship podium flanked by Transcanada Motorsports Scott Harland and Houde.
Alex Milka covered a seven point deficit with 2-1 rides in the MX-2 Beginner class to take the title. Keldon McGuirk and Tyson Martens round out the top three.
Marcus Giesbrecht topped an impressive group of MX-2 Intermediate riders to claim the Championship. Tyler Bergen and Branden Senchuk were a solid second and third.
Carmen Regier won four motos and never finished worse than third to collect the Ladies class title. Lauren Gilmore grabbed second while Taylor Masse finished third.
Another class that had a close battle entering the final round was the MX-1 Beginner class. Michael McIvor picked up both moto wins and the title while second place finisher Kevin Solarchuk can only wonder about what might have been after an injury left him unable to line up for the final moto. Cody Coupland stood on the third step on the box.
The final title was claimed by Troy Dumka who piloted (pun intended) his way to the top of the 25+ class. Luke Macfadden and Johnnie Unrau were next in line at seasons end.
                                                       See you at the races…
