AK's Walton View: More Photos from the TransCan
You know that old saying: You don't know what you've got til it's gone. Well, that's how I feel about good old Canadian moto. After seven summers chasing the stories on the Canadian trail, I sure do miss it. I decided to make my annual pilgrimage to the Walton TransCan to check on the National scene. I am happy to report that it's thriving as usual. And at the heart of it all are a lot of the same faces, the same families, and the same shared passion for one hell of a sport. Congrats to all the riders on another great year. Thanks for having me back. Here are a few of my favourites from a hot, sunny, fantastic Sunday at Walton.
Walton is all about the next generation. Whether they're on the track in the 50cc class or just throwing their leg over a display bike, a visit to Walton can open up a whole world of possibilities. Here Tory Hadenko- Hodgkinson dreams big...
The fastest woman in Canada with one impressive moto mom: Mama Medaglia and Ms Heidi Cooke watch Tyler wrap it up.
Another patented Richard Grey holeshot. I remember this kid accepting awards at the TransCan with stickers all over his arms and legs so he wouldn't forget his sponsors on the podium. Man, I'm old. Go Richard!
Jeremy: The second Medaglia to make the MX2 series podium. Two more steps to go til the top. If you know him, you know he won't be happy until he gets there.
This dude has one genuine smile. After his double DNF's last weekend, you had to be happy for Bobby K's win.
