A view of the facility from one of the table-tops. As one of Mike Harms's masterpiece tracks, he and crew kept the track in tip-top shape.
Manitoba hero Ryan Millar appeared this weekend. Millar, fresh off his first full season in the CMRC Pro Nationals, picked up four moto wins and two overalls in Youth A and MX-1 Pro.
One of the best battles of the day was that between MX-2 Intermediates Coard Allard (992), Braden Jonsson (337), and a hard charging Rio Stoesz (207) during moto one. The three were this close for a few laps until Stoesz passed both riders for the lead and pulled away for the win. The overall saw Stoesz take the win, Jonsson second and Allard third.
Pro rider Josh Penner made his return to the race circuit this weekend. Penner raced to a strong second overall in Youth A action.
After a few weeks of being MIA, Earl Reimer and his new Kawasaki KX450F grabbed second overall in Plus 25.
Derek Wiebe picked up a fourth overall trophy in 85cc 12-16, and just barely missed the top five in Supermini where he scored sixth overall.
Armed with a brand new 2011 KTM 150SX Hayden McKinny stomped the Youth B field with a pair of moto wins.
Trev Dyck (321) pulls a holeshot over the MX-2 Beginner field. Dyck's 1-2 moto scores earned him first overall.
After picking up a 450, Eric Fardoe jumped into the MX-1 Junior Class and took both motos. Fardoe also placed second overall in MX-2 Junior.
D.J. Burmey has been one of the three moto winners in the 85cc 7-11 class. Burmey's 2-1 gave him first overall on the day.
Lane Louttit's 5-4 scores in MX-2 Junior were good enough top put him on the last step of the podium.
Andre Peters scored in the top five in 65cc Pee Wee A with two fifths. Peters also picked up fourth overall in 85cc 7-11 aboard his RM65!
