I made the trip down to Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego, California last weekend to shoot round five of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross series. Most of my shots can be seen over at PulpMX.com where Matthes contributed some captions so hit up this link to check it out. Here's a few more Canadian-centric shots below, including our own Kyle Beaton making his first main event of the season. Check it out...
Brad Nauditt was injured at Oakland and didn't race at San Diego but was still at the race. He's now home in Spokane for a little bit but is going to race some of the East rounds in the 450 class.
Nothing weird about this Donk photo. Nothing at all.
Leading Edge Kawasaki's Matt Goerke scored a fill in ride on the BTO Sports/Butler Brothers Suzuki team, replacing the injured Michael Byrne. He finished 17th in the main event.
Kyle Beaton finally got the monkey off his back at San Diego, grabbing the LCQ win and making his first main event of the season.
All of Beaton's hard work paid off, not only making the main event but finishing a career best 11th.
Bobby Kiniry was another Canadian National competitor who scored a fill in ride for the SX season. Kiniry replaced Ryan Morais on the Rockstar/Star Racing/Valli Yamaha team and made the main event, finishing 14th.
Dean Wilson and his mechanic(and former Blackfoot Honda rider) Paul Perjebinos celebrate Deano's win and return to the points lead in the Lites class.
