If that photo above is the near future, this one is the distant future. You would not believe the speed of #402 Gage Linville and #79 Jett Reynolds! They were doing almost all of the obstacles on both tracks...on their 50s!
#46 is older brother Tanner Scott. He made his finals on both the sx and mx track.

Here's our buddy Mike Treadwell. I never really knew him when he raced our nationals, but I do now and he's a really good dude. He grabbed 3 2nds, a 6th, and a 7th.
The B classes will be mostly won by #62 Jordan Smith this year. He crashed out of the Open B Mod class on the mx track but won a total of 9 titles!
#193 Luke Clout is a pro from Cairo, GA. I just thought this shot summed up what it takes to be a pro.
#27 Shane McElrath is a pro from South Carolina. He won 450 Pro Sport in both sx and mx. This pic also shows what happens when someone who knows what they're doing takes your camera and fixes the settings that have been messed up since I bought the camera used TWO YEARS AGO! I can't wait to get to more events now!
Young Larry Reyes was up in the chase for titles in the 65 (7-9) classes. He raced with a Superman Jr. cape so he makes the photo report.
#401 Jace Owen didn't win any of his A or Pro Sport races, but he was in the chase every time he was on the track.
#175 Cooper Webb raced every class on his 250F. He won 6 titles in the A and Pro classes and finished 2nd and 3rd in the others.
#811 Matt Young did not have any luck this year at Gatorback. He took off to Hardrock with Cale Foster to get in some practice and seized his bike up solid. He was unable to get it fixed in time to race.

That's gonna do it for another year at the Mini O's. If you've never made it to this event, it should be high on your list. Mitch Goheen has some serious Etch-A-Sketch skills.
Huge thanks to MX101, Jay Thompson from MX Schools, and Dan and Mitch Goheen for their hospitality.
RIP Christopher 'Jantz' Grodzicki #96.
