#RTRippers Take On Canadian Nationals
Race Tech has a history of capturing wins and championships around the globe and for 2017 they will be fielding an extremely competitive group of talent in the Canadian Motocross nationals. With a roster stacked with talent aboard Race Tech Gold Valves, there should be no shortage of outstanding results for the World’s largest aftermarket suspension modification company.
Longtime Race Tech rider Mike Alessi will bring his suspension company of choice along with him to Canada, as Race Tech will be the official suspension provider for the Monster Energy Alpinestars Kawasaki team. Mike’s teammate will be MX2 class championship contender Jacob Hayes.
Coming off a successful Supercross season, Team PR-MX/Strikt riders Scott Champion, Guillaume St-Cyr, Carlen Gardner and Lane Staley will be aboard Race Tech Gold Valves. Champion, Gardner and St-Cyr will be tuned by Race Tech’s HQ in Corona, CA; while Staley will receive service and support from his local Ohio Race Tech Service Center, Bonzi Suspension tuned Gold Valves.
The standout privateer in the MX1 class last summer was without a doubt Keylan Meston, and he will be back this summer on his #8 YZ450f on Race Tech Gold Valves. In addition to suspension support from Race Tech, Meston will be aboard a Race Tech engine.
Dillan Epstein jumped aboard Race Tech Suspension just a week ago and finished an impressive 12th in the 2nd 450MX moto at the AMA Glen Helen national in his debut with his new suspension. He’ll be carrying a lot of confidence into the Canadian series with support from NutUp and C4MX on his privateer KX450.
Tallon LaFountaine made his pro debut in Canada last summer competing in 2 races where he scored an impressive 7th and 5th overall in the MX2 class. Tallon will return this summer on a privateer KTM250f aboard Race Tech Suspension.
Strikt backed Canadian privateer Brock Leitner teamed up with Race Tech prior to the 2017 Supercross season and is always a top 10 contender. Brock will line up in the MX1 class aboard a Kawasaki KX450.
“We are definitely excited to welcome some new teams and faces to the Race Tech family for the summer in Canada to showcase the performance of our suspension. Having a powerhouse team like the Monster Energy Alpinestars Kawasaki team choose Race Tech means a lot, as we’re sure they could’ve received support from any company in the industry. The rough and challenging tracks combined with experienced, proven racers will also be a vital piece in continuing the non-stop R&D process to ensure we are offering the best suspension setups available around the globe. It will be an exciting summer to watch these guys battle each weekend!” stated Race Tech’s Director of Marketing, Chris Riesenberg.
