I headed out to Milestone MX this morning for one last day at a mid-week Supercross practice track. The place was full of Pro riders getting set for Round 4 of the Monster Energy Supercross series in Oakland this weekend.
Tomorrow morning it’s time to start heading east into the Rockies for some Winter X Games Snow BikeCross racing. Canada is 2-0 for Gold Medals, so let’s see if we can make it 3 in a row!
Anyway, the big triple jump is always a fun place to stand and get the riders airing it out in between the palm trees in the background.
I know whose style I like the best, but who is your pick?
#910 Carson Brown. Carson is the busiest rider on the bike. I’m not sure it’s the fastest style but it sure does look good!
#285 Marshal Weltin. In a series of photos on Instagram a day ago, the one of Marshal was the only one Kevin Tyler from MX101 liked. As Arsenio Hall would say, hmmmm….
#160 Jess Pettis. Jess wasn’t feeling very good last week and into this one. He’s all sorted out and ready to attack Oakland this weekend.
#99 Austin Politelli. He’s an ex-Canadian champ.
#63 Pierce Brown. He absolutely killed it in the top classes at round 2 of the Supercross Futures series.
#474 Niclas Hallafors.
#72 Martin Castelo. Martin is here from Ecuador.
#62 Alex Ray. Alex rode by and yelled something about Canada. Maybe it was something about MX101?
#767 Mason Wharton.
#221 Mathias Jorgensen. All the way from Denmark. He told me he’s interested in racing in Canada for the Triple Crown series. Did Kevin Tyler shake his hand when he was here???
#393 Daniel Herlein. “I might not have the flashiest style, but sometimes I can get the job done.”
#97 Adam Enticknap and #62 Alex Ray. Suddenly, I found myself in the middle of a team shoot!
See what I’m saying?!
#60 Justin Starling.
#951 Ryan Surratt.
#120 Todd Bannister.
#179 Westen Wrozyna. Tide’s out, Westen!
#30 Jordan Jarvis.
#41 Ben Lamay. Straight outta Alaska.
I don’t know who #935 is, but I just realized after all these years that Mike McGill’s race number was just one higher than Scott Wilson. Sorry, had one of my flashbacks…
So, who was your favourite? I guess you have to answer over on our Facebook page if you feel like having your opinion heard. See you there.
Jess’s pit and the Alternative Vision guys.
The PRMX crew.
Noah and Bjorn Viney with Westen Wrozyna.
Tony “Was (Not Was)” Waas. Everybody walk the dinosaur! Boom, boom, acka, lacka, lacka, boom. I’ve had too much coffee, sorry. Anyway, I was trying to quietly let Tony say it and move on. Let’s try this again. See you at the races…
