$2 Tuesday – 2010 Oak Hill Amateur National

As I sat at my desk fighting with the recent ‘improvements’ to the Photobucket image hosting website, I clicked on the ‘2010 Oak Hill’ album and thought I’d share a couple old photos for this week’s ‘$2 Tuesday.’
We had a special rider in the making with #16 Cole Thompson back in 2010.
His mom, Momma T, hated having her photo taken as much back then as she does now, but I never let a thing like that stop me!
I remember how smooth #28 Ryan Millar was through this section as if it were yesterday. He was easily the fastest through them.
That smoothness paid off with a 3rd overall. Ryan Lockhart was down in Texas helping him out that winter.
A rider Ryan’s size shouldn’t be pushed around like this! More ARP, Ryan! More ARP! 😉 #17 is Nick Paluzzi and #717 is Coby Adair.
#120 PO Lavigne was still hitting as many big races as he and his dad could back in 2010.
John John Pauk (left) was in the Intermediate classes but had an off week.

I thought we were in for a decade of this, #26 Cole Varty vs. #117 Michael Da Silva.
#92 Adam Cianciarulo was the one to beat in the 85 and Supermini classes.
#312 was Jason Anderson. He won the 250 Open and Open Skill classes.
#243 Eli Tomac was undefeated in the top 2 250 classes that week.
#118 was young Christopher Da Silva.
