Team Manager Brayden Kalte and Guaranteed Comfort Agree to Part Ways
By Billy Rainford

There have been rumours swirling surrounding the Guaranteed Comfort Honda team the past couple weeks, so we wanted to talk to someone qualified to give us some answers. I gave Team Owner Chris Egan a call Friday afternoon and he was quite forthcoming in explaining everything the team is dealing with at the moment.
Brayden Kalte was the Team Manager last year and also works Honda dealership the team goes through, Hanover Honda in Hanover, Ontario.
Brayden and the team have decided to part ways, amicably, moving forward. Mechanic Dan Klassen, who also works at Hanover Honda, will take over in the team manager role for the foreseeable future as well as be the mechanic for the team’s 250 rider Wyatt Kerr.
While Chris was sure to mention both sides are happy, he did mention that he and Brayden see the running of a team in a slightly different way. Brayden seeks structure and results while Chris hopes a more relaxed approach to performance will yield better results.

New 450 rider Ryder McNabb will have Gabe Dollimore as his mechanic and will continue to be based out of Texas throughout the season, flying in and out of the rounds.
The team will be using Powerband Suspension out of Florida and their engine mods will be coming from Twisted Development.
Brayden will make sure the team continues to prepare for Round 1 of the Canadian Triple Crown Series Motocross Nationals smoothly before stepping away on a more permanent basis. But never say never!
The team’s other 450 rider is Tyler Shewchyk and their WMX rider is Amelie Croteau. Chris said we should see the entire team at AMO Round 2 at Auburn Hills May 2-3.
We’ll continue to follow this story as it devoeops heading into Wild Rose MX in Calgary, AB June 7th.
