First Canadian Indoor Electric Motocross Race

Rivière-du-Loup, May 19, 2026 — Three-time Quebec Open Pro SXQC champion Guillaume St-Cyr will ride an electric motocross bike for the very first time in an indoor race in Quebec.

During the 44th Bérubé GM Rivière-du-Loup Indoor Motocross, held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Centre Premier Tech, spectators will witness a Quebec first with the inaugural Arenacross race featuring an electric motorcycle.

Guillaume St-Cyr, the number one Arenacross rider in Quebec, will ride his impressively powerful Stark motorcycle during the upcoming event on May 23. Originally from Victoriaville, Guillaume is a professional Supercross, Arenacross, and Motocross racer. As the only Quebecer to compete on the American winter Supercross and Arenacross circuits for over 15 years, Guillaume became only the fourth Quebecer in history to qualify for a Main Event. A three-time Open Pro SXQC champion, he will be competing for his fourth career title this year.

I am very proud to be the first to ride a Stark in a Quebec Arenacross and to showcase the power of this bike. Offering great reliability and handling, I am thrilled as a factory rider for the company to introduce this brand to our home crowd,” says Guillaume St-Cyr.

He is riding directly for the Stark factory in Spain. They’re providing us with settings for the bike that are not available to the public,” added Luc Myre from BBL Plumbing, a long-time supporter of ‘Guac’s’ racing.
