2015 Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship – East

The 2015 Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship kicks off this Sunday May 24 at Motopark in Chatsworth, ON with the first East round.

This event will be Presented by Yamaha Canada with some special Yamaha prizes.   Yamaha has provided WEC with a 2015 250 YZFX to be used out on course at all the CXCC events –  this motorcycle is the first true cross country focused race bike to come out of Japan and is getting rave reviews from the motorcycle press.   You can check it out in person this weekend!

2015 is a special year for World Enduro Canada – we are celebrating our 10th anniversary of Provincial, National and International off road motorcycle competition in Canada.   WEC was formed in 2005 and began its foray into motorcycle competition by organizing successful back to back Enduro World Championship rounds in Parry Sound, ON in 06’ & 07’.   These events were very well recieved by both competitors, sponsors and fans with some of the highest praise coming from multi World Champions like David Knight who called them “the best” EWC rounds he had ever competed in.  Following up on the international success in 2008 WEC began to organize true Canadian National events taking place across the country.

2014 was a record year for Royal Distributing Canadian Cross Country Championship with increased rider entries across the country and 2015 is expected to expand on that success.

For 2015 World Enduro Canada has attracted a record number of quality sponsors to help us celebrate this special year.   We want to thank the following companies for their support –

Title Sponsor – Royal Distributing

Presenting Sponsors – Honda, Yamaha

Premier Sponsors – Husqvarna, KTM, Kawasaki, Beta

Support Sponsors – Parts Canada, Klim, Pirelli, Rekluse, Wiesner Insurance, Langs Off Road, Sherco, West Coast Transportation

This weekend will be a double header – on Saturday the first round of the Wiesner Insurance Ontario Enduro Championship will run for youth riders (under 18) and then on Sunday Round #1 of the CXCC East.   Make it a weekend of family fun and come out for both events.   Youth riders can race on Saturday and then the entire Family on Sunday.

This is a special call out to all the ladies who race – or have been thinking about it.   WEC has partnered with the LAMINICORR Racing “Ride like a Girl” program – this will pay out $200 to the top 3 finishers in the Women’s class at all CXCC events.  $100 for 1st, $60 for 2nd, $40 for third.   Get your motorcycles ready gals and come out to win some money!
