Double holeshots at Calgary.

2. What was the worst race for you last summer? What happened?
Gopher Dunes. I rode a different bike all break at home and felt it at Gopher. Rookie move.

3. What was your favourite track of the year and why?
Calgary. That track and city are awesome.

4. What was the biggest story from the summer as you saw it as a racer?
Benoit vs Friese and the brother [Karel] taking out Vince 4 laps down. Lame.

5. What was the funniest thing that happened to you last summer?
Funniest was crashing the moped with Jake Streichert out at Jerome’s – complete yard sale and broke Jake’s fishing pole.

Bonus: What are your winter and 2015 plans?
SX and I had a blast with everyone a part of the RTR Performance team, and I really appreciate Erik and Dennis [Dube] having me on another year.

1. What was your favourite moment from the 2014 Rockstar Energy MX Nationals?
My favourite moment of the season was starting out with a good solid 1st moto. My bike worked well on the Nanaimo track and I felt like myself.

2. What was the worst race for you last summer? What happened?
I would say the worst race would be moto 2 at Nanaimo. I high-sided over another rider on the first lap and my hand/wrist landed on a rock and I thought I had just broken it, but I got going and the adrenaline kept me charging. From there, my season just wasn’t clicking together with a sore wrist and fighting some set-up stuff.

3. What was your favourite track of the year and why?
My favourite track was Nanaimo because I felt like my set-up was dialed in for those conditions.

4. What was the biggest story from the summer as you saw it as a racer?
The biggest story from the summer was the mud race at Regina. I wish I would took the cheater lines like everyone else.

5. What was the funniest thing that happened to you last summer?
The funniest thing that happened to me this summer was not being able to have a podium finish.

Bonus: What are your winter and 2015 plans?
My winter plans were racing the Future West AX’s that are now done already and then doing some house work and then start training for the Canadian nationals come March.
