2005 Johnny Montes Interview

Here’s another interview from the binder that never saw the light of day, I don’t think. I was “The Moto Hunter” for Racer X Illustrated Canada at the time. This one goes back to 2005 (maybe?) with Johnny Montes from the maritimes after racing the final round of the Vancouver Island #arenacross Series at Arbutus Meadows Equestrian Centre just past the speed trap in Nanoose Bay, BC.

I recorded it with a hand-held recorder and then actually transcribed it with a pen! Yikes.
