Stark VARG Approved for Competition Across All Canadian Triple Crown Series Races
First North American eligibility milestone allows the Stark VARG to compete in the 250, 450, and WMX classes in Canada
Brigden,ON — The Stark VARG is now legal to race in all Canadian Triple Crown Series races, marking a major milestone for motocross competition in North America. For the first time on the continent, the Stark VARG is eligible to compete across the 250, 450, and WMX classes in a premier national racing series. The change opens the door for broader participation and signals a notable step forward for class-wide acceptance of electric motorcycles in top-level motocross competition.
The Canadian Triple Crown Series is the premier motocross championship in Canada, and full eligibility across all three classes gives riders and teams a new option for national-level competition. By permitting the Stark VARG to line up in the 250, 450, and WMX categories*, the series creates a single, competitive pathway for riders interested in racing the platform at multiple levels of the sport.
This announcement is significant not only for Canadian racing, but also for the wider North American motocross market. While electric motorcycles have continued to draw attention across the industry, eligibility across all major national motocross classes has remained limited. The Stark VARG’s approval for every Canadian Triple Crown Series class represents a clear competitive benchmark and a meaningful development for racers, teams, promoters, and fans following the growth of electric competition.
The new eligibility status gives riders the opportunity to enter Canadian Triple Crown Series events with the Stark VARG under the series’ approved class structure and race framework. Additional details regarding rider entries, event participation, and model compliance can be confirmed through official Canadian Triple Crown Series race communications and team channels.
“This is a huge thing for electric bikes. We have worked with Stark in the past, and they are a great brand. They are extremely professional, and this will add a little more flavour to an already great paddock of bikes,” said Justin Thompson, CEO of Jetwerx.
Sebastien Tortelli, Stark Racing Director commented: “This represents an important moment, not only for Stark Future, but for the continued evolution of motocross itself.
“To see the Stark VARG eligible to compete across every major class within one of North America’s premier racing series is a significant milestone for us.
“This is another step toward that natural evolution, as the integration of the Stark VARG into top-level competition continues to become standardized.”
*Further information: As with all motorcycles competing within the Canadian Triple Crown Series, the Stark VARG competes under the championship’s existing technical framework and class regulations.
