Who/what inspired you to get onto a dirt bike and how long have you been racing/riding?
Who got me inspired to start racing and even get on a dirt bike would be my boyfriend, Zack Zager. Watching him compete at the national and provincial level made me want to give it a try and have him coach me through it all.
When not on a dirt bike how do you keep yourself busy? Are you involved in any other sports or extracurricular activities?
Since I was 2, I’ve been playing soccer. That is my main sport. I grew up travelling all around Ontario playing at the top level and went on to pursue my career in soccer at the College level. From there I attended Conestoga College and Humber College and played my 5 years of OCAA soccer with both schools. Now I play first division soccer with the St. Thomas Women’s Soccer. Trying to balance both racing and soccer in the summer can be a challenge because if I get hurt in one sport I can’t play the other, but we made it work and will continue to make it work so I can enjoy both sports.
Who is your all-time favourite rider and why?
Jo Shimoda is my favourite rider. He is humble and smooth and has progressed so much as a rider and for sure has smart comebacks in interviews.

What is your favourite track and why?
I personally only did a couple races this season, being new and balancing soccer with racing at the same time, but I would say Walton Raceway was the best for me. But a track to go watch at and camp would for sure be Sand Del Lee.
What are your biggest accomplishments to date?
My biggest accomplishment would be to even get on a bike and race against other males and females. I was very nervous my first gate drop, honestly, but once I did a few more races and practiced on our track at home I got more comfortable. My first time ever getting on a bike I crashed into a tree and broke my hand. The fear getting back on was stressful but I worked harder and got on a bigger bike and want to keep moving forward.
What kind of track/dirt/terrain do you feel you excel at most and why?
I feel i’m best on sand tracks because we have 2 sand tracks at our house and feel most comfortable on them.
If you ever have children will you give them the option to race as well?
100% I will give them the option to play either soccer or race for sure. If they choose to race more than soccer, Zack will train them in that department being a Pro Vet.

What was your first fear when you started riding and how did you overcome it?
My fear was crashing, which did happen. Broke my hand by crashing into a tree first time ever getting on a bike. Once I was healed I learned that it will happen and you have to keep moving forward. I went from a XR 100 to a KTM 125 and I feel most comfortable on the 125. It took me a while to trust myself to ride again on a track after that crash, but I overcame it.
What was your first race number and how did you choose it?
My first race number is my soccer number which is 80. That number has been my soccer number since I was 11 because I wanted to be different out on the field and have a high number. When I choose my number for racing I wanted to keep the same for both sports.
Who would you like to thank?
I would like to thank my boyfriend Zack Zager (also my trainer) for teaching me everything there is to know about bikes. All our sponsors as well: Grip N’ Rip MX, Legacy Tattoos, Shred Shack, All In Skatepark, Rempel Concrete, London Power Corp, This Girl Rips.
