Who/what inspired you to get onto a dirt bike and how long have you been racing/riding?
My dad, Luke Dillon, got me into racing when I was around 4 years old. I’ve been racing/riding for around 11 years.
When not on a dirt bike how do you keep yourself busy? Are you involved in any other sports or extracurricular activities?
When I’m not on a dirt bike I go to the gym and I race Snocross professionally. I do Snocross as my main sport, I travel all over the USA racing the ISOC Snocross races. My class is Pro Women. Last year I finished 5th overall in the championship in my rookie year.
As a racer, are there any obstacles you feel a female racer has to deal with that maybe a male racer does not?
I feel that as a female racer in motocross the benefits don’t outweigh the risk. The female racers don’t seem to get the same exposure or pay as the males. You don’t see girls getting factory rides. They also don’t get any cool opportunities like the MXON because it is a male-dominated sport. But I know for myself I go the gym every day, I train on a bike every day and I put in 100% effort just the same as the boys but get very little recognition.

From your first ride to where you are now what is something you never thought you would be able to overcome but have?
I have always been (and still am) scared to hit big jumps, but over the years I have progressively gotten better and continue to hit bigger jumps and come out of my comfort zone.
Who is your all-time favourite rider and why?
My all time favourite rider is Jo Shimoda because he’s a cool dude and he rips.
What is your favourite track and why?
My favourite track is either Gopher Dunes or Motocross Deschambault, but if I had to choose it would be Deschambault. I like that’s because it’s sandy, wide open, I love the elevation changes, gets good ruts and it has perfect flow.

What event do you look forward to most every year? What’s one you don’t ever want to miss?
TransCan at Walton Raceway and ECAN are the big events I look forward to going to every year. I haven’t missed either event since I was on 50’s.
Who has been your biggest inspiration/hero on and off the track?
I would say my biggest inspiration has probably been my brother (Crayden Dillon) (even though I’m always just known as his sister). He always gives me tips, takes me to the gym, pushes me, helps me improve and I want to be just as fast as him one day.
Do you have any pre-race rituals?
I have specific riding pants that I have to wear on specific days. I stretch before races while also listening to No Broke Boys on full blast.
What are your plans for this upcoming season? Any specific events you’re looking forward to?
To go to Loretta Lynn’s and to win girls at Walton and finish top 9 at Triple Crown.
What are your biggest accomplishments to date?
My biggest accomplishments to date are winning my first ever first pro snocross race as a rookie and winning Girls (9-16) at ECAN.
What is the biggest lesson that racing has taught you so far?
The biggest lesson I have learned is to keep pushing during a race because you never know what can happen.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Winning everything!!!!

Are there any females out there who you feel have paved the way for other girls to be successful in motocross or off road?
I think Brandy McLarty has done a lot for girls racing. She has shown that the girls can run with the boys too and succeed.
What kind of track/dirt/terrain do you feel you excel at most and why?
I feel like I ride sand better because my home track is sand.
If you ever have children will you give them the option to race as well?
They will be racing, there is no other option.
What was your first race number and how did you choose it?
My first race number was 609 because my brothers was 906, so I just switched it.

Do you see yourself ever competing in the Canadian WMX Triple Crown series? Or have you competed in the WMX Triple Crown Series? What are your thoughts on the series?
Yes, I have competed in the WMX Triple Crown Series. I really enjoyed racing with all the big dogs and being on TV, even though it was only moto 2 that got televised.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be a champion in the dirt and on the snow.
Who would you like to thank?
I would like to thank my mom and dad the most, because they support me in everything and drive me everywhere. I would also like to thank Crayden Dillon (my trainer/brother), Matt Marshall from Race Ready Customs, Orps Parts, OGS, AMO, Dillon Bros. Roofing and anyone else I forgot, thank you.
