TWO DAYS LEFT to ride the Dunes before this Sunday’s AMO Qualifier!! Track & Trails open on Thursday & Friday from 11am to 8:30pm then CLOSED on Saturday to prep for the BIG Event! The tracks are excessively dry and the boys will be giving them a good drenching of water starting Friday — allow some time for it to soak down, then level on Saturday, water some more, pack the track, and groom it to ideal MX racing conditions!
NEW FOR THIS WEEKEND — the pee-wee track will have a new whoop section with a couple of lengthened jumps all adding up to a much more technical p-w track!
Plus the MAIN TRACK will also have a few new changes & it will be run same as the 2014 National lay-out!
So load ‘er up & head ‘er on down to experience and/or witness this top-notch event!!!
Three very important reminders for this weekend:
1) You MUST have your 2015 CMRC Membership to race AMO series (if you don’t have it yet, you can purchase it online at: www.cmrcracing.com or at the track this weekend, bike #’s will not be confirmed)
Full CMRC Membership is $140. Day Passes available at $40. (transponders required, not scored for series) Anyone purchasing a day pass will have to fill out a Licence Application, a Minor Release if under 18, complete an Entry Form, plus pay the regular class entry fees. They will likely have to place an “X” after their bike # so it doesn’t conflict with an already assigned #.
2) Make sure you bring along your FULLY CHARGED & ACTIVATED MyLaps transponder. Anyone racing on the Big Track must have a transponder! AMO will have a limited supply of transponders to rent at $30 per day. A credit card will be required as deposit. Transponders can be purchased in advance & allow one week for shipping: http://www.mylaps.com/en/products/mx-flex-subscriptions/599 Must get activated & require a full 24-hour charge.
3) AMO is giving out FREE Day Passes to the first 10 racers signing up this weekend! Afterwards Day Passes will be sold at $40. All participants will be required to complete the CMRC Licence application.

Gates will be open on Saturday for campers to arrive between 4pm to 11pm.
For untimely delays, we recommend that you park alongside Con. 2 STR just south of the entrance turn right) Gates re-open Sunday at 6am.

SIGN-IN PROCEDURE:
It is mandatory that you have your plastic bar-coded 2015 Licence Card! Continuing with last years’ procedure — you sign yourself in by scanning your Card with the bar code scanner and then proceed to select your classes on the touch screen lap tops set up in the Pro Shop/AMO Trailer. Hit “print” and your Entry Form/Waiver will be printed out, this needs to be signed + both pages of the Parental Consent/Minor Waiver form must be completed for those under 18.
Only the newly registered 2015 racers must manually fill-out the Entry Form & enter their transponder code.
FAST & SIMPLE FOR THOSE WITH THEIR 2015 MEMBERSHIP IN HAND!!
Then the racer completes sign-up by signing the Master Waiver (by parent, if under 18), pays his racing fees and gets wrist-banded. Pit-crew & photographers must also sign Waiver Release.
DON’T MISS THE MANDATORY RIDERS MEETING AT THE AMO Trailer at 8:30am. Here you will be given the full scoop on how the day will unfold using the transponder system for the main track, automated scoring, new rules, etc. As an added incentive – The MB1 “Win your Day” draw for 2 FREE gate + entries fees to a racer that MUST be in attendance at the Riders’ Meeting (up to $90. value each) – we call out your name – you are the lucky winner!! Two draws will take place at every AMO Race in 2015! The staff on-site will not repeat the details to those that missed the info session – you’ll be on your own to find out!
Practice begins immediately following the Riders Meeting at 8:30am.

All registered racers must have their assigned CMRC # on their jersey/chest protector as well as on the front and both sides of their bike and with proper colours. Numbers can be purchased at the Gopher Dunes Pro Shop (while supplies last). Even with transponders the #’s are still mandatory for back-up manual scoring. Incorrect, duplicated or missing #’s may cause the rider to be scored improperly or disqualified completely!!

In addition to winners receiving plaques & pw racers getting Future Champ lanyards, an assortment of prizes will also be randomly awarded to our young racers! AMO is providing a portable podium & announcer station for our pee-wee racers and all the Prizes & Winnings will be presented by the Mini Track Podium 30 minutes after the final pw moto. AMO is pumping our pee-wee racers in anticipation of becoming our future champs!
