Off the Cuff with Jacqueline Ross | January 2026

Greetings, Humans!

Happy New Year, happy new day, happy new life! This month’s column is short and sweet; it won’t take up too much of your precious time, as we’ve all got a lot of living to do. I’m not sure if I will ever fully understand the hype and extravagance surrounding the New Year.  When you strip away the fireworks and the countdowns, each day is essentially a “new year.” Every day is made up of 1,440 minutes and 24 hours. How are you choosing to live them? Things that make you go, hmmm.

I’ll bow out with this, a quote that I stumbled across by an Unknown Author…

This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will. You can waste it or use it for good. What you do today is important. Because you are exchanging a day of your life for it. When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever. In its place is something that you have left behind…Let it be something good.”

Blessings on your journey,

Jacqueline
