Well, let’s get right to it. It was an exciting way to end the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Budds Creek because we had 4 Canadians to track heading into it. Unfortunately, the wheels came off the bandwagon pretty quickly for us all.

Let’s go through how everyone did before we dive into the details more.

Tough break for #613 Cole Pranger at his first try at an AMA Pro Motocross National at Budds Creek His crash in moto 1 that caused the red flag restart resulted in a broken right femur. In classic motocrosser’s mindset he said, “Still pumped I got in!” He’ll get surgery down south tomorrow (Sunday). All the best on a speedy recovery, Cole.

What was supposed to be a positive ending to a very difficult Canadian Triple Crown Series turned into a trip to an American hospital for #533 Dylan Wright.

He headed to Budds Creek to race the final round of the AMA Pro Motocross Championship in the 450 class. He qualified 17th but in Q2 had a crash that took him out for the remainder of the day.

We spoke with Honda Canada GDR Fox Racing Team Owner Derek Schuster Monday morning and in true Dylan fashion, we’re told he refused the helicopter ride out and even said he’d walk himself off the property if they tried to force a medi-vac flight on him. He ended up going to the hospital via ambulance where they were concerned about upper chest and back injuries.

There were no actual broken ribs but we’re told there is likely some cartilage damage. Unfortunately, they also found a fractured T4 vertebra in his back.

Dylan was treated and then drove himself home to Quebec late Saturday afternoon and is recovering there.

Heal up, Dylan, and we’ll see you back when you’re back to 100%.
