A Few Photos from WW Ranch in Jacksonville, Florida

Photos and captions by Billy Rainford

We were sitting around GPF the other day when I asked where Jeremy Medaglia had been riding that day because he wasn’t at GPF with a lot of the other riders. I was told they had gone to this new track over by Jacksonville. When Jeremy and Shawn Robinson returned, Jeremy raved about the place and told me that I should go there to get photos.

When a Medaglia tells you a place has crazy jumps, you need to go check it out!

We were leaving for Palm Coast the following morning so we planned on stopping in at WW Ranch as it was barely out of the way from GPF to Daytona. When we pulled in and went into the office to ask if they’d mind if I wandered around and took some photos, Lisa could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Next thing I knew, I was wearing a neon vest and heading out to check out a new track.

Jeremy was right – it is a fast, jumpy, wide-open place that lends itself perfectly to some nice jump and scrub shots. We didn’t stay long – only long enough for one 85/Supermini practice and one Pro practice. If you get a chance, you need to check this place out.  Here are a few shots from WW Ranch:

I'm willing to bet every photographer who has been to WW Ranch has this shot on their hard drive.

There were a lot of #1's, 2's and 3's I'd never heard of.

The little bikes were heading out when we got to the track.

Lisa said there were a few Canadians there but I didn't find any that day.

This rider chased around a smaller rider on a Yamaha the entire time. They had a great moto.

I was wondering who the fast guy without numbers was and then I saw the 457 on his back. It was Darian Sanayei.

I wish I was there the day before to see Jeremy and Shawn scrub this massive jump.

This guy gave his 2-stroke all it had to almost clear this jump.

The take-off wasn't exactly easy for non-pro riders.

Although we were only there for an hour, the track and the overall atmosphere left a positive impression on us. Give it a try for yourself.
