KTM Canada Motocross and Offroad Racing Programs Locked in for 2026
KTM Canada will feature two racing programs in 2026, with the KTM Canada Red Bull Race Team fielding Harri Kullas, Crayden Dillon, and Hayden Dupuis in the Canadian Triple Crown Series, while Alex Gougeon and Phil Chainé make up the KTM Canada Race Team roster for the FMSQ Cross-Country National Championship.
Experienced international Kullas is set to make his Canadian debut this season, having previously competed in both the MXGP World Championship and AMA Pro Motocross throughout his extensive career.
Equipped with the KTM 450 SX-F FACTORY EDITION for the upcoming season, the 34-year-old Estonian will target strong results across the eight-round championship, which commences at Calgary’s Wild Rose MX circuit on June 7.
Harris Kullas: “I’m very excited to explore a new country and championship! My first days in Canada have been great, and the team gave me a really warm welcome. Everything is very professional and well organised, which makes me even more excited to start the season together. The goal is always to fight at the front, but I know the local riders are very strong on their home tracks. We’ll do our best to battle for top positions all season long.”
Meanwhile, 19-year-old prospect Dillon will campaign the KTM 250 SX-F FACTORY EDITION for the team in the MX2 division, with the rising talent bringing a unique background in snowmobiling to the program. He’ll aim to build experience throughout the season, motivated to make his transition to motocross count in 2026.
Crayden Dillon: “I’ve learned a lot with the team so far, but there is still much to go. I’m excited to get racing, as well as stack experience as the championship develops.”
A new addition to the KTM Canada Red Bull Race Team for this year will be 15-year-old Dupuis, who will contest the intermediate category aboard the KTM 125 SX, while also preparing for the Loretta Lynn’s Ranch AMA Amateur National Championship in Tennessee in August.
Hayden Dupuis: “I’m thrilled to receive this opportunity from KTM Canada! It’ll be a fun season of learning, growing, and progressing, and the aim is to achieve some solid results while also building together.”
KTM Canada’s offroad effort will see experienced duo Gougeon and Chainé return to the official team for 2026 and target success in the FMSQ Cross-Country National Championship. The pairing will each be equipped with the KTM 250 XC-F this year.
Gougeon placed second on the podium at the Sand Trap season-opener this past weekend, beginning his 2026 series in convincing form, before Round 2 takes place at Lac Taureau on June 6-7.
Alex Gougeon: “I can’t wait for the 2026 season. The number 886 is back – focused, determined, and Ready To Race.”
Phil Chainé: “I can’t wait to start my 17th season of FMSQ Cross-Country racing! I put a lot of work in during the off-season and still have goosebumps for the first race. I am very comfy with my KTM 250 XC-F this year, and I will give my 110 percent to battle and fight for the win.”
Both teams enter the 2026 season focused on title success, with returning KTM Canada Race Team manager Mathieu Deroy expressing enthusiasm for the year ahead in both motocross and offroad competition.
Mathieu Deroy, KTM Canada Race Team Manager: “I’m happy to be back with a full race team in 2026! We have a great group of guys heading into the season and we’re looking forward to fighting for the championships.”
