#28 Sam Gaynor Announces His Retirement

#28 Sam Gaynor has announced his retirement from professional motocross racing. After a lengthy career, he has decided this week at Walton Raceway will be the place he closes this chapter of his life.
Here’s how he said it in an Instagram post:
To the sport of motocross, thank you❤️ After 21 years racing, 7 as a pro, the time for me to flip the page to the next chapter has come. I am so thankful for every person I have met along the way, it truly has been something I will cherish forever. I am excited to finish this off strong this week at Walton Raceway where I have been coming for the past 19 years and 6 championships!!
There are so many people for me to thank for everything throughout my years racing; but I really have to thank my parents. Mom and dad, thank you for everything. For being there for me through the highs and lows. The hospital stays, the victories, the surgeries, the championships, the smiles. I truly wouldn’t have been able to do it without you guys❤️
I am excited for what’s to come next. Thank you to all my my past and present sponsors, supporters and fans, I appreciate all of you!
