How did you get started in racing?

My dad bought me a bike at a young age. I rode trails for a couple years then, at age 9, I began racing at Gopher Dunes.

What is your favourite track and why?

The FrankFit home track – AKA ‘The Pit.’ The Pit is my favourite track because everyday Kyle and Jay Thompson change it up. The track varies from clay that is good for throttle control to Walton-type ruts and Gopher sand.

Who is your favourite rider and why?

My favourite rider would have to be Justin Bogle because of his style on the bike and how he is always under the radar, but puts in consistent results.

Next season? “I would like to be a title contender for MX1, MX2, and MX3 Junior at Walton TransCan, and the Canadian AX Tour Junior Championship.” | SL photo used with permission

What Canadian Pro do you look up to and why?

Canadian pro would have to be Cole Thompson as he is very smooth, makes minimal mistakes and is very consistent. Cole also works very hard to win as much as he does and is a very cool guy off the track.

Who is your hero?

My hero would have to be my dad as he puts many hours into my racing program, whether it be wrenching, timing my motos, or riding with me.

What are your goals for next season, and what is it going to take to reach them?

My goals for next season are to be down south for a month or so training with the FrankFit crew, then spending my months training with Kyle and Jay Thompson for the race season. I would like to be a title contender for MX1, MX2, and MX3 Junior at Walton TransCan, and the Canadian AX Tour Junior Championship.

What are your biggest accomplishments?

My biggest accomplishments would be my 11th place finish at Walton TransCan in a stacked Schoolboy moto, and being the top Junior finisher while battling with some top Intermediates. Also, going 1-1-1 in Junior B, winning Sandstorm MX2 Junior class, finishing 2nd in AX Lites at Sarnia Arenacross, 2nd in AX Open in Barrie AX, and 3rd overall in both Schoolboy & MX2 Junior for the AMO Championship Series.

What is your favourite part about going to the races?

My favourite part about going to the races is seeing the results of the work and time I have put in to be competitive for consistent podiums every weekend.

What do you like to do when you aren’t racing?

When I am not racing, I’m usually with Austin (Watling) and Tanner (Ward) doing something fun, whether it be Canada’s Wonderland or pitbiking. I love doing exciting things every day. But during training I am with every member of the Frankfit crew everyday working my butt off!

Who would you like to thank?

I would like to thank Derek, Justin and the whole GDR crew for everything they have done for me, Kyle Thompson and the whole Frankfit crew, Honda Canada, Forma Boots, Gauldy at AMO, most importantly my mom and dad, and Direct Motocross for the interview!
